2. Data collected
We collect the data you voluntarily provide by writing or calling us (name, company, contact details, message content) and technical browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected via cookies and similar technologies, as described in the Cookie Policy.
3. Purpose of processing
Data is processed to: respond to requests received by email or phone; manage the commercial/pre-contractual relationship; fulfil legal obligations; improve the site through aggregated statistical analysis, where consent has been given.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on the data subject's consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), on the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b) and, for legal obligations, on Art. 6.1.c of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
5. Data retention
Data is kept for as long as needed to fulfil the stated purposes, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless different legal terms apply for tax or contractual obligations.
6. Map and third-party services
The Contact page embeds a map from OpenFreeMap with OpenStreetMap data: to display it, the user's browser connects to OpenFreeMap's servers, which receive the IP address and technical request data. No cookies are set. The pin and the “Get directions” button open Google Maps in a new tab only on the user's action; any further processing is governed by Google's own policies.
7. Disclosure and transfer of data
Data is not sold to third parties. It may be processed by cloud and infrastructure providers (e.g. Microsoft Azure) acting as data processors, including outside the European Union, with adequate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR.
8. Data subject rights
At any time you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or data portability, or object to processing, by writing to info@novia-ai.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The last-updated date is shown at the top of the page.
